1. Acceptance
By using Knot ERP or creating an account, the user and the organization they represent agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable service order or subscription agreement. If you use the service for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
2. Service and accounts
Knot provides business-management modules that may vary by plan, industry, and configuration. Information must be accurate, credentials must be protected, and accounts must not be shared contrary to assigned permissions. The account administrator is responsible for users, roles, and company settings.
3. Acceptable use
The service must be used lawfully and safely. You must not bypass permissions or tenant isolation, test or exploit vulnerabilities without written authorization, distribute malware, disrupt the service, collect other people’s data without authority, commit fraud, or use the platform for unlawful content or transactions.
4. Business and user content
The business or user retains rights in content they enter and grants Knot only the permission necessary to process it to deliver, secure, and support the service under the Privacy Policy. A business must provide required notices and obtain required consents before entering employee or customer data.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Plan fees, billing cycle, tax, trial, and renewal terms are shown before purchase or in the applicable order. Paid features may be restricted after expiration or payment failure following applicable notices. These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer or customer rights.
6. Third-party services
Some features rely on payment, authentication, maps, messaging, hosting, or other external providers. Their terms may also apply. Knot does not guarantee an external service outside its control, but will use reasonable efforts to maintain integrations.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, software, design, trademarks, and documentation remain owned by their respective owners. A subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service during the applicable term and does not grant a right to copy, sell, or reverse engineer it except where restriction is prohibited by law.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service and may perform maintenance, security updates, or feature changes. Interruptions may result from maintenance, providers, or events outside reasonable control. We will try to give appropriate notice of material changes where practical.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or suspended to protect users or data, for non-payment, a material breach, or a legal request. Customers may terminate according to their plan or agreement. Obligations that naturally survive, including accrued fees, confidentiality, and ownership restrictions, remain effective.
10. Liability and applicable law
Liability limits and warranties in an applicable order or agreement apply to the extent permitted by law. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded. Disputes are governed by the law and forum identified in the applicable agreement, or mandatory rules with jurisdiction when no separate agreement exists.
