1. What are cookies?

Cookies and local-storage technologies save small values in a browser to operate a session, remember choices, and measure use after consent. The service may use similar session identifiers even when they are not traditional cookies.

2. Strictly necessary storage

This supports authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, tenant and language selection, privacy choices, and cart or session continuity. Some cannot be disabled inside Knot because they are necessary for the requested feature. Browser deletion may sign you out or remove settings.

3. Preferences

These remember language, appearance, and selected interface or store settings. Non-essential preferences can be accepted or rejected through consent settings.

4. Analytics

After consent, Knot creates a random visitor ID and session ID and records allowlisted events such as a page view, registration start, or completed purchase. It does not collect passwords, text typed into fields, card details, or message content.

5. Marketing and third parties

Non-essential marketing technologies are enabled only with consent and when the relevant integration is configured. Payment, maps, video, or identity providers may set their own storage when their feature is used and are governed by their notices.

6. Duration

Duration depends on purpose. Session data may expire after closing or inactivity, while language, consent, and visitor ID may remain longer until deletion or withdrawal. Published server event-retention periods also apply.

7. Managing choices

The consent center offers essential-only use or permission for analytics, preferences, and marketing. You can also delete site storage in browser settings. Withdrawal stops future non-essential collection and does not change prior lawful processing.

8. Contact

Privacy requests can be sent to support@knot-sys.com. Never include a password, verification code, or card details in your request.
